Vehicle servicing can seem confusing.
I want to get my car serviced but what sort of service do i need?
Really, it’s quite simple. Your choices are: minor service, major service, or book service.
MINOR SERVICE
(often called an oil change)
Engine oil and filter
Air filter and wiper blades if required
Full vehicle checkover
MAJOR SERVICE
Engine oil and filter
Air filter, fuel filter, cabin filter (if fitted)
Spark Plugs (petrol only)
Wiper blades
Driveline oils (on request)
Full vehicle checkover
BOOK SERVICE
(following the manufacturers’ servicing schedule)
Services vary according to make, model and number of kilometers
Full vehicle checkover
When booking your service remember to have your rego, the current kilometers, and rough idea of when the last service was done.
